Recent surveys and figures into Scotland’s job market give some positive findings for the year ahead in 2015.
Unemployment levels have continued to decrease as the National figure is now below 6% - which is under the UK average! In addition, around 2.6 million people in Scotland are in employment which represents a higher percentage of the population than the UK as a whole.
CV-Library reported that job postings in Scotland increased by 31% year on year with just fewer than 38,000 postings recorded in 2014.
Furthermore, the Bank of Scotland’s latest quarterly employment report revealed that starting salaries are continuing to increase!
This is all great news for Scotland’s employment sector and proves that Scotland is a great place to live and work.
