The CBI (Confederation of British Industry) have recently announced that the intention of UK companies to hire more professionals workers over the next quarter has hit a record high. The companies that took part in the survey for Q4 showed that confidence reached a record high of +46% which is the highest rate since November 1998.
It's not just the future that's looking rosy, 44% of the respondents said they have increased the numbers of staff employed over the last three months and that employment has grown at its fastest pace since November 2007 (up 33%).
For the longer terms, there is even more good news and confidence. The CBI state that 63% of firms expect expansion to increase over the next year.
