A new study posted by The Society For Personality And Social Psychology has said that listening to "high power" music such as tracks by 50 Cent could be one of the best ways to boost your confidence before an interview. They conducted a study where participants listened to "high power" and "low power" music to see how it would affect performance. Not surprisingly, "high power" won.
So it turns out when Richard Ashcroft was telling us that "the drugs don't work, they just make you worse", it was actually some subtle interview advice to turn off all his music and listen to the Venga Boys instead.
