Monthly BoS report on jobs shows positive growth (again!)
It seems a bit of a repetitive theme, but we feel it is important to show the latest monthly results of the Bank of Scotland "Report on Jobs". Once again, the market is improving with another increase in the number of people finding permanent work in Scotland. Like last month, this has resulted in a further shortage of highly skilled staff in Scotland along with the usual rise in salaries, being above the UK average for two months in a row.
The bad news is that "IT and computing" has lost its top spot for the monthly increase in permanent placements, but is at least in second place, showing a strong and consistent strength of demand in our industry.
