Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for a Commissioning Electrical Maintenance Engineer for offshore Wind Turbines around the Benelux area.
The role will involve commissioning of newly installed wind Farms around Benelux. You will need to be based in Assen, Emmen or around the centre of the Netherlands, as this role involves a lot of travel around the Benelux area (Belgium, Netherlands and Luxemburg) and Germany.
You will be working at height and so need to be confident in that environment, but all appropriate training courses will be given if needed.
This role will primarily require an MBO training level 3/4 in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. It is ideal to have experience with heavy industrial equipment.
If you have worked in the wind industry before this will be an advantage.
Specifically, you will need to have experience with connecting electrical equipment and testing inverters, security and control equipment.
You should have a flexible attitude and are prepared to sometimes remedy malfunctions outside normal working hours. You should also be solution oriented and passionate about fault solving.
You will need to have a driving licence for this role.
Must be fluent in Dutch and have the basic command of English and/or German.
If you would like to find out more about this position and to be considered, please contact Stephanie Grieve at Cathcart Energy and apply with your latest CV.
