Cathcart Energy are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer for offshore Wind Turbines in various locations around the Netherlands.
The role will involve servicing and maintenance of Turbines on Wind Farms in Noordoostpolder.
You will be working at height and so need to be confident in that environment, but all appropriate training courses will be given if needed.
This role will primarily require an MBO training level 3 in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical or General operational technician. It is ideal to have experience with heavy industrial equipment.
If you have worked in the wind industry before this will be an advantage.
Specifically, you will need to have experience with fault finding, 3 phase systems and electrical systems maintenance. It is also important to have knowledge of the health and safety regulations. If you have experience with PLCs and control systems that will also strengthen your application.
You should have a flexible attitude and are prepared to sometimes remedy malfunctions outside normal working hours.
You will need to have a driving licence for this role.
Must be fluent in Dutch and have the basic command of English and/or German.
