Cathcart Energy is looking for a Wind Farm Construction Project Manager for our client in the wind industry, to participate in the development and construction of onshore wind farm projects in Scandinavia.

In this role, you will be responsible for leading onshore wind farm construction projects, and you will have a significant part in supporting the project all the way from the feasibility studies to the hand-over of the project.
Your responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):
You will also be responsible for managing sub-contractors and suppliers throughout the process, and therefore you need to have solid experience of leading and managing high value projects with multiple stakeholders. You will also be familiar with how to coordinate, communicate and meet clients and suppliers, as well as residents and municipalities.
Suitable candidates will have an educational background to the level of MSc in an engineering discipline (civil-, electrical-, energy- or equivalent). Candidates will also have a solid background working with construction project management, and it will be considered an advantage if you have prior experience from managing large scale wind farm projects, but our client will consider candidates with a construction background in heavy plant or similar.

In this role, candidates need to be fluent in English, and if you speak Swedish or Finnish as well this will be considered an advantage. You will be based in either Espoo (Finland) or Stockholm, Östersund or Karlstad (Sweden).
There is some travel included in the role, mainly in the Nordic countries. You will also be expected to be present on site 4-5 times per month.
