Electrical Engineer - Electricity Generation
Salary: £55K - £60K per annum
Cathcart Energy are recruiting for an Electrical Engineer to work in the Electrical power industry.
You will be working on one of three CCGT (Combined Cycle Gas Turbine) power stations.
To be successful in this role you will need to be educated to a minimum of HND level in an electrical discipline and have experience of completing a similar role with a heavy engineering industry.
Due to your experience, you will have knowledge of contract legislation, regulation relating to Health and Safety and detailed knowledge regarding legislation for electrical systems.
Good communication skills are essential to ensure you can work across multi-discipline teams and the ability to build and maintain relationships with a range of stakeholders.
You will need to be comfortable working to very tight deadlines.
You will be reporting to the Engineering Manager who is looking for you to build an inclusive and high performing team.
The Power Station forms part of their Generation division and is a combined cycle gas turbine asset. It's recently undergone upgrade works encompassing gas turbines, steam turbines, boilers and process control systems, resulting in higher operating efficiency in line with their trading requirements.
